I have been a certified Personal Trainer since 2020. I also have certifications bodyweight specific functional training and am a Performance Enhancement Specialist. I approach fitness as a 3-dimensional field with emphasis on physical, mental, and nutritional needs. Functional fitness is my focus as it is a necessary lifestyle for reducing injuries and improving performance on the fireground. This approach translates well to on-ice performance by stressing good habits, full range of motion, reducing fatigue and overtraining, improving flexibility, and building lasting habits to support a decades long hockey career.
